Role Description
The Sales Executive Marine is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajman, responsible for driving sales of marine lubricants and related products.
This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities with shipowners, ship management companies, marine distributors, and other maritime stakeholders in local and international markets.
The Sales Executive Marine will manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, preparing proposals, conducting product presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Daily activities include maintaining regular contact with existing clients, coordinating deliveries and technical support with internal teams, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and after-sales follow-up.
The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to support pricing decisions, marketing initiatives, and strategic planning, as well as preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills in B2B environments, ideally within marine lubricants, industrial lubricants, or related chemicals.
- Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities, with the ability to develop and sustain long-term client partnerships.
- Solid negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the confidence to interact with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Market research and prospecting abilities, including identifying target segments, mapping key accounts, and generating qualified leads.
- Understanding of marine industry operations, vessel requirements, and lubricant applications is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently in the field, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools for managing pipelines, customer data, and sales reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within the UAE and to international markets as needed.
