Sales Executive - Logistics & Freight Forwarding

Role overview

Sales responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across air, sea, and land freight.
• Generate leads through an existing network, cold outreach, meetings, and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client requirements and work with internal teams to develop competitive freight solutions and quotations.
• Negotiate and close new business while maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on leads, quotations, and conversions.
• Identify new trade lanes, sectors, and commercial opportunities for D&F Logistics.

Candidate requirements

• At least three years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics in the UAE.
• Existing network of clients, industry contacts, and/or agents.
• Demonstrated track record of generating and converting new business.
• Good understanding of air, sea, and land freight services and the UAE logistics market.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable developing business independently.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
