WhizzHR is hiring a Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in freight-forwarding, logistics and supply-chain services (air, sea, road/land).
  • Grow and maintain key client relationships; manage existing accounts to maximise revenue, cross-sell/upsell services (e.g., customs, warehousing, 3PL).
  • Develop tailored commercial proposals, negotiate service agreements, pricing and contracts in line with profitability guidelines.
  • Work closely with operations, documentation, customer-service, and partner/agent teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments, high service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and trade-lane opportunities; feed these into strategy and pipeline development.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline (qualify leads, convert to revenue), update CRM/sales-tools, provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure financial metrics such as Gross Profit, DSO (days sales outstanding), revenue growth are met or exceeded.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, client meetings and maintain professional presence in the Dubai logistics market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent. (MBA preferred)
  • Proven business-development/sales experience in international freight forwarding or logistics in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong knowledge of air, sea and land freight forwarding operations, trade-lanes, INCOTERMS, customs/transit formalities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to influence at senior client levels.
  • Self-motivated hunter mindset: able to prospect new business, cold-call, build pipeline and close deals.
  • Familiar with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred (for client visits across Dubai/region).
  • Languages: Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
