Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Kochi.
The Sales Executive will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their travel needs and recommend suitable packages and itineraries.
Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting sales calls and in-person meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, and following up to close sales.
The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless trip execution, and meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Additionally, the Sales Executive will represent The Road Tales at events or client meetings, gather feedback to enhance offerings, and support marketing activities that drive customer acquisition.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and client advisory skills, ideally in travel or hospitality.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with CRM software, email tools, and office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work toward targets, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for travel, tourism, and experiential journeys, with knowledge of popular destinations and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Willingness to work on-site in Kochi and occasionally outside standard business hours, depending on client needs and peak seasons.
