Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our shipping and logistics team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets for freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shipping agents, and corporate customers.
- Promote company services including:
- Sea Freight
- Air Freight
- Land Transportation
- Customs Clearance
• Warehousing & Distribution
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and service agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum **3 years of proven sales experience** in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and freight operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to achieve targets and work under pressure.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
