Job Title: Sales Executive – Building Materials
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling building materials to contractors, construction companies, and retail clients. The role involves developing strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and identifying new business opportunities in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and building materials market
- Promote and sell products such as cement, steel, tiles, sanitary ware, and other construction materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, and project managers
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand project requirements
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in building materials or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and market trends
- Valid driving license (often required for client visits)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
