Role overview
Generate sales of air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), and road/land transportation services.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business and convert prospects across import, export, and cross-trade segments.
- Prepare quotations and rate proposals with pricing and operations teams.
- Build relationships with shippers, consignees, and freight partners.
- Follow up on inquiries, negotiate rates and terms, and close deals.
- Coordinate with operations and documentation teams to support shipment execution.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct client visits, calls, and meetings; track market rates, competitors, and industry trends.
- Maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and CRM records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of freight-forwarding/logistics sales experience.
- Knowledge of air, sea, and land freight operations, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
- Existing UAE/GCC client base or industry contacts are a strong advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Valid UAE driving licence and own car; ready to join immediately.
