About This Role
We are hiring for a Sales & Events Executive to drive the revenue growth of our Italian standalone restaurant.
Job Overview:
The Sales & Events Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales initiatives, corporate relationship development, and successful planning and execution of private dining and event experiences.
This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, converting event enquiries into confirmed bookings, building long-term client partnerships, and supporting the overall commercial performance of the venue.
The position requires a strong balance between sales strategy, operational coordination, and guest experience
delivery aligned with the restaurant’s brand positioning and service standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, solicit and secure new corporate accounts, private dining clients, and event opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of enquiries, tentative bookings, and confirmed events.
- Conduct regular sales calls, networking visits, and market outreach activities to generate revenue.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and event packages aligned with company pricing strategy and profitability
- targets.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to maximize conversion while protecting revenue margins.
- Follow up on all enquiries and offers in a timely and structured manner to secure business.
- Monitor sales production against targets and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Events Coordination & Execution:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients from initial enquiry through to event completion.
- Conduct venue tours and consultations to present event offerings.
- Coordinate internally with kitchen, reservations, finance and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Oversee event setups, service flow and guest satisfaction during key bookings.
- Ensure all events are delivered in line with brand standards, operational procedures and safety regulations.
- Obtain post-event feedback and identify opportunities for improvement and repeat business.
Account Management & Market Positioning:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate offices, concierge networks, lifestyle partners and
- local community stakeholders.
- Maintain a database of key clients and regularly engage to generate repeat bookings.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market demand to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional initiatives, campaigns and seasonal activations.
Reporting & Commercial Performance:
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, conversions, lost business and revenue performance.
- Prepare regular sales and events performance reports including pipeline status and revenue contribution.
- Contribute to forecasting of event revenue and support annual commercial planning.
- Support development of innovative event concepts and revenue-generating initiatives.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in restaurant sales, events management or hospitality business development.
- Proven track record in generating corporate bookings, group dining revenue or private event sales.
- UAE market experience and local professional network preferred.
- Hospitality, business or marketing qualification is advantageous.
- Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial.
- Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to generate hospitality revenue.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- High level of organisation and attention to operational detail.
