Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Engineering Services

A leading global engineering services organization is seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Middle East region, with a primary focus on the UAE market.

This role is ideal for a strong “hunter” profile with a proven background in selling outsourced engineering

services

to EPC companies and National Oil Companies (NOCs) within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors.

The successful candidate will leverage existing GCC industry networks to develop new business opportunities, manage strategic client relationships, and drive revenue growth across major engineering and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activities for Engineering Services across the GCC region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, procurement teams, engineering managers, and project stakeholders within National Oil Companies and Energy operators.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities related to outsourced engineering services and project support.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, client engagement, proposal management, commercial negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Promote engineering service offerings including:
  • Detailed Engineering
  • Process Engineering

• Mechanical, Piping, Civil & Electrical Engineering

  • Procurement Support
  • Commissioning Support

• Digital Engineering & Managed Engineering Services

  • Navigate EPC procurement processes, vendor registrations, commercial frameworks, and competitive bid environments.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed individual revenue and growth targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming capital projects across the GCC region.

Required Experience

  • 6–20 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within Engineering Services.
  • Proven experience selling outsourced engineering services or engineering manpower solutions to:
  • EPC companies

• National Oil Companies (NOCs)

  • Oil & Gas operators
  • Energy & Process Industry clients
  • Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM project environments and engineering outsourcing models.
  • Existing relationships with procurement and project stakeholders across the GCC region.
  • Proven ability to manage complex bid cycles, pricing negotiations, and long sales processes.
  • Experience working within engineering consulting, managed engineering services, or engineering outsourcing organizations.
  • Candidates from pure IT product/software sales backgrounds will not be considered.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Fluent Arabic.
  • Strong hunter mentality with ability to build business from scratch.
  • Experience carrying revenue targets and owning individual sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel across the GCC region as required.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred.
