Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Riyadh.
The Sales Engineer will identify and qualify opportunities for fire protection systems, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and present solutions to prospective and existing clients.
Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, understanding client requirements, coordinating with engineering and project teams, and ensuring that proposed systems meet applicable codes and regulations.
The role involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, participating in client meetings and negotiations, and maintaining accurate records of leads, quotations, and sales activities in line with company processes.
The Sales Engineer will also support tenders, contribute to market research, and help strengthen long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to translate technical fire protection solutions into clear value propositions for clients.
- Proven Sales and Customer Service abilities to manage the full sales cycle, build trust, and support clients before and after installation.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear proposals, deliver presentations, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Background in fire protection systems or related fields (e.g., Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression) is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent technical experience.
- Familiarity with relevant fire protection standards and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM or sales tracking tools, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and travel within the Kingdom as needed.
