Role Description

This is a contract, hybrid Sales Engineer role based in Riyadh, with a combination of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility.

The Sales Engineer will identify and qualify sales opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and present HVAC and flue chimney solutions to prospective and existing clients.

Daily tasks include conducting site visits, gathering technical requirements, coordinating with engineering and product teams, and ensuring proposed systems meet performance and compliance standards.

The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, responding to client inquiries, and assisting with tenders and bids.

The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate records in CRM tools, track project pipelines, and collaborate closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate technical specifications into practical solutions for clients.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including prospecting, relationship management, and follow-up across the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders(Must be fluent in English and Arabic).
  • Background in HVAC systems, mechanical engineering, or related technical fields; experience with flue chimneys or similar products is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in B2B or project-based sales within construction, infrastructure, or building services sectors, ideally in the GCC region.
  • Understands the Saudi Arabian and GCC market very well.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and travel within Saudi Arabia and surrounding areas for client visits as needed.
  • Comfort with using CRM software, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic technical drawing or documentation review.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and safety-conscious practices in all client and project interactions.
  • Previous experience in the Saudi Arabian market is a must
