Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer
to join our team, focusing on
lighting energy-saving retrofit projects
.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in lighting systems and a passion for energy efficiency.
This role involves identifying opportunities, proposing retrofit solutions, preparing technical and commercial offers, and driving project closures through close coordination with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in lighting energy-saving retrofit projects.
- Conduct site surveys and energy audits to assess existing lighting installations.
- Design and propose retrofit solutions that optimize energy savings and meet client requirements.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams for solution validation and project execution planning.
- Develop strong client relationships and maintain continuous engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, products, and technologies in lighting and energy efficiency.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in lighting or energy retrofit projects.
- Solid understanding of lighting systems, LED technologies, and energy-saving calculations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare BOQs and proposals.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with lighting design software (e.g., Dialux) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
