Role Description
The Sales Engineer Specialist in Generators is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for driving sales of generator solutions and related equipment.
This role involves identifying customer requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and delivering product presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
The specialist will provide technical support before and after sales, including sizing and configuration of generators, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with engineering and service teams to ensure reliable operation.
Daily activities include managing sales pipelines, conducting site visits, following up on inquiries and quotations, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company policies.
The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, competitor offerings, and market trends to support strategic sales initiatives and long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including the ability to interpret technical specifications, design suitable generator solutions, and prepare accurate technical proposals.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting generator systems, coordinating with service teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical guidance.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear technical and commercial communication, presentation abilities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing deals in an industrial or equipment-focused environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service orientation, including responsiveness to client needs, relationship management, and a focus on long-term customer satisfaction.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field), with experience in generators or power solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of generator sizing, power systems, and applicable standards, as well as proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to work on-site and conduct regional travel as needed, with a valid driver’s license and strong command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
