Role overview
The Service Sales Engineer develops and manages sales of engine rebuilding, overhaul, repair, and related workshop services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new customers and business opportunities for engine rebuild and repair services; visit customers to understand technical and service requirements.
- Identify repair and overhaul opportunities and coordinate inspections and repair scopes with workshop and technical teams.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations; follow up on inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order confirmations.
- Maintain customer relationships, generate repeat business, achieve sales targets, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Maintain customer, quotation, and opportunity records in CRM; monitor market activity, competitor pricing, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automotive, or marine engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in diesel engines, engine rebuilding, workshop services, or technical sales.
- Good understanding of diesel engine components and overhaul processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- A UAE driving license is preferred; UAE market experience is listed as a requirement.
