We work across commercial, industrial, and government sectors in Qatar, supplying and integrating systems ranging from UPS and BMS to smart building and automation solutions.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in ELV and building automation systems and a proven ability to generate revenue in the Qatar market.

This is a commercially focused role — you will be responsible for bringing in new business, managing client relationships, and contributing to the introduction of new systems and product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across ELV, UPS, BMS, CBS, LCS, CCTV, and related automation systems
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry and site survey through BOQ preparation, proposal submission, and deal closure
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, facility managers, and end clients in Qatar
  • Prepare technically sound proposals and tender documents
  • Conduct site surveys and client needs assessments
  • Research and introduce new product lines and systems to expand the company portfolio
  • Represent Elux Technology at client meetings, project sites, and industry engagements
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Systems & Products

You will be working with: UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), CBS (Critical Battery Systems), BMS (Building Management Systems), LCS (Lighting Control Systems), CCTV & Access Control & PA/VA Systems, Structured Cabling and emerging AI and IoT-enabled building solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of sales or sales engineering experience in Qatar's ELV, MEP, or building automation sector
  • Solid technical understanding of ELV systems and low-voltage electrical principles
  • Familiarity with Qatar's tendering processes, consultant approval cycles, and procurement procedures
  • Established network of clients, consultants, or contractors in Doha
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Valid Qatar Driving License — required

Preferred Qualifications

  • UPDA (Engineers Registration) certification — strongly preferred
  • Experience with BMS, CBS, UPS, or SCADA systems in a technical sales capacity
  • Knowledge of Kahramaa regulations and local compliance standards
  • Experience introducing new technologies or product lines to the market
