Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Singapore.

The Sales Engineer will manage the end-to-end sales process for turbocharger MRO services, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and following up on quotations.

On a day-to-day basis, the role involves understanding customer technical requirements, providing recommendations, and working with internal engineering and service teams to develop tailored solutions.

The Sales Engineer will visit customer sites, conduct product and service presentations, and support negotiations to secure contracts.

The role also includes handling customer inquiries, coordinating technical support, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and account information.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution selling and the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value.
  • Experience in Technical Support, with the ability to understand turbocharger or rotating equipment systems and assist customers with technical issues.
  • Solid Sales and Customer Service skills, including relationship management, follow-up, and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant engineering background (e.g., Mechanical, Marine, or related discipline) and familiarity with MRO or marine/offshore industries is advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to customer locations within Singapore and, when required, the region.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software to manage opportunities and documentation.
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
