Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Dubai.
The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, propose appropriate instruments and solutions, and prepare quotations and technical-commercial offers.
Daily responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
The role involves managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities in target industries.
The Sales Engineer will also keep up to date with product specifications and industry trends, maintain accurate records in CRM or similar tools, and contribute to sales forecasts and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, including solution selling, opportunity qualification, and negotiation.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Customer Service, with the ability to troubleshoot, explain technical concepts clearly, and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting technical information to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with industrial, laboratory, testing, or measurement equipment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, travel to client locations within the region, and manage time across multiple accounts and projects.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office, and basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
