Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Dubai.

The Sales Engineer will identify and develop business opportunities in industrial, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation projects, while building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Daily responsibilities include understanding customer technical requirements, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating with internal engineering teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support.

The role involves conducting site visits, attending client meetings, supporting bid and tender preparation, and ensuring that solutions comply with DEWA and other relevant standards.

The Sales Engineer will also follow up on quotations, negotiate terms within company guidelines, and support the smooth handover of projects from sales to execution teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution-based selling and the ability to translate technical features into customer value.
  • Experience in Technical Support, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues and coordinate with engineering teams for complex problems.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proven Sales and Customer Service skills, with a focus on relationship-building, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Familiarity with industrial projects in the UAE and understanding of DEWA or similar regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools for managing proposals, quotations, and client records.
  • Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, competitive market.
