Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers to understand technical requirements, propose suitable research and engineering equipment solutions, and prepare quotes and technical offers.

Daily responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, supporting pre- and post-sales technical inquiries, and collaborating with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.

The role involves managing customer relationships, following up on leads, attending meetings and industry events, and maintaining detailed records in the sales pipeline and CRM tools.

The Sales Engineer will also assist with documentation, training sessions, and feedback collection to continuously improve products and services.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to interpret requirements, configure solutions, and resolve technical issues.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage accounts, and drive opportunities from lead to closure.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear technical presentation, proposal writing, and confident client interaction.
  • Relevant engineering or technical degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with academic or industrial research equipment, laboratory systems, or instrumentation is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site with customers, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or sales management tools; valid authorization to work in the United Arab Emirates.
