Role overview
The Sales Engineer (Interior Fit-Out) bridges commercial sales and technical execution to grow business and manage client relationships.
Presents fit-out solutions for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects; the role calls for fit-out execution, site measurement, BOQ estimation, and MEP or architectural finishes integration experience.
Responsibilities
- Generate business with prospective clients, developers, main contractors, consultants, and architects across the UAE fit-out market.
- Review tenders, drawings, and MEP specifications; prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
- Present technical solutions, meet clients, and act as the main technical contact during pre-construction.
- Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, and project management for transition from sales to site execution.
- Monitor local real estate activity, pricing, competitors, and authority approvals, including DDA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and Concordia.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize commercial terms, and secure signed agreements against sales targets.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, interior design, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of sales engineering or business development experience in the UAE interior fit-out and joinery sector.
- Understanding of fit-out execution, materials, joinery, ceiling and flooring systems, and basic MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings, CAD layouts, and technical specifications; ability to prepare BOQs, variations, and cost breakdowns.
- Working knowledge of Dubai authority approvals and local vendor or supplier networks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
- Valid UAE driver’s license.
