The company is hiring an experienced Sales Engineer to support growing demand.
Responsibilities
- Forecast annual customer visitation schedules and arrange appointments, air tickets, hotels, and transportation.
- Understand customer needs and recommend spare parts, repair scopes, or machinery; report requirements for proposal generation.
- Answer technical customer queries and visit customers.
- Submit visitation reports, update customer profiles and vessel lists, and follow up inquiries.
- Gather customer information to inform sales strategy and help conclude orders.
- Generate leads, business relationships, and inquiries; meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Provide customer service throughout the sales process and entertain customers, including foreign guests, as needed.
- Attend potential weekly or monthly meetings; manage day-to-day administration.
- Update inquiry registers and visitation plans weekly and prepare monthly Kaizen sheets.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Any graduate degree; a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Proven experience marketing technical products in a similar field.
- Demonstration and competitive analysis skills; good understanding of the sales process.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
- Strong computer literacy and a valid UAE driving license.
