Sales Driver

About This Role

A Sales Driver is responsible for delivering products to customers, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Delivery: Drive to deliver goods to customers along designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional service and support to address their needs.
• Sales and Upselling: Identify sales opportunities during deliveries, promote products, and encourage customers to place additional orders.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels on the delivery vehicle, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
• Reporting: Review sales reports, implement new sales plans, and maintain detailed records of sales and customer interactions.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in good working condition, performing routine checks and maintenance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Driving License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
• Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales-driven environment, preferably in retail or distribution.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to adapt to changing conditions on the road and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems and basic sales reporting tools.

Work Environment

• On the Road: The role involves regular travel, spending much of the time in a delivery vehicle, with some walking and standing required for deliveries.
• Reporting Structure: Typically reports to the Route Sales Manager or Distribution Manager.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per hour
