Role Description

The Sales Director - Qatar is a full-time, hybrid role based in Doha.

This role is responsible for driving sales growth for Slangit’s aiSTART.school platform in the Qatar market, from prospecting and lead generation through to closing and account expansion.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing territory sales plans, managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, delivering product presentations and demos, and negotiating commercial terms with education sector clients and partners.

The Sales Director will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school leaders, government entities, and strategic partners, while closely collaborating with internal product, marketing, and operations teams to align market feedback with roadmap priorities.

The role also involves tracking performance against targets, reporting on sales metrics, coaching team members involved in the Qatar market, and representing Slangit at relevant events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Sales and Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and closing complex B2B or institutional deals.
  • Strong Business Development capabilities, with experience identifying new markets, building partnerships, and creating go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability in Customer Service, focusing on long-term relationship management, client satisfaction, and account growth.
  • Team Management experience, including coaching, setting goals, and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to achieve targets.
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, or edtech solutions; familiarity with AI-driven products is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the education sector, ideally within the Gulf region and specifically Qatar, including public and private stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, with the ability to operate independently and take ownership of market outcomes.
