Sparkle Wave Freight / Shipping seeks an experienced Sales and Customer Service Executive for breakbulk and project cargo work in Dubai, UAE.
The role develops business, manages customer relationships, prepares quotations, coordinates shipments, and supports end-to-end operations.
Relevant breakbulk or project cargo experience is required for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and follow up on breakbulk and project cargo opportunities; identify customers and generate freight and shipping sales leads.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, commercial follow-ups, and customer relationships.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, vessel operators, agents, terminals, transporters, customers, and internal sales, pricing, and operations teams.
- Coordinate bookings and shipping instructions, bills of lading, manifests, and other shipping documents.
- Monitor vessel schedules, cargo readiness, loading and discharge, and delivery arrangements; provide shipment updates.
- Resolve customer and operational issues and support execution of breakbulk, project cargo, heavy-lift, and OOG shipments.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers and service providers when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of GCC experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics, including at least 2 years in Dubai, UAE.
- Proven experience in breakbulk, project cargo, heavy-lift, or OOG operations.
- Good understanding of vessel operations, ports, terminals, and shipping documentation.
- Experience preparing quotations and coordinating with shipping lines, agents, transporters, and customers.
- Strong customer service, communication, relationship-management, business development, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English and good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.
- A UAE driving license is an advantage; immediate availability is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–15,000 per month.
