Essential job functions
- Analyze distributor sales, bookings, inventory, quoting activity, margins, and other key performance metrics.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, SAP, and other available data sources.
- Turn analysis into recommendations for distribution strategy, pricing, inventory, and sales growth.
- Engage distributor partners and participate in business reviews, pricing activities, partner development, training, site visits, and industry events.
- Coordinate with internal sales, product, marketing, and operations teams; improve program processes and reporting.
Education and experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in analytics, sales, distribution, business development, or another commercial function is preferred.
- Strong analytical aptitude and interest in using data to understand business performance and influence decisions.
- Excel and data analysis experience are preferred; Power BI or similar visualization exposure is highly desirable.
- CRM or ERP exposure, including Salesforce or SAP, is a plus; industry experience is beneficial but not required.
Language and job skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; conversational ability in another language is a plus.
