We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and highly motivated Sales & Cashier Associate to join our bakery team.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, friendly, and passionate about sales.
This role is not limited to taking orders and handling payments; it requires actively promoting our products, increasing sales, attracting customers, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Actively promote bakery products, daily specials, and new items.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average order value.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Operate the POS system and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Ensure displays, shelves, and counters are clean, attractive, and fully stocked.
- Encourage customers to try new products and place repeat orders.
- Support online and delivery platform orders (Talabat, Noon, Deliveroo, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the front-of-house area.
- Monitor product availability and report low-stock items to management.
- Assist with packaging and presentation of products.
- Distribute flyers and promote the bakery within the surrounding area when required.
- Build relationships with nearby offices, residents, and businesses to generate sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, bakery, café, restaurant, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Positive attitude and energetic personality.
- Ability to work under pressure and during busy periods.
- Good English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional behavior.
- Must be proactive and self-motivated, not waiting to be told what to do.
Performance Expectations
- Greet every customer within 5 seconds of entering.
- Promote at least one additional product to every customer.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- Help increase daily sales through active selling and customer engagement.
- Represent the bakery brand positively at all times.
What We Are Looking For
We are not looking for someone who simply stands behind the counter.
We need a **sales-driven team member** who actively engages customers, promotes products, creates repeat business, and contributes directly to the growth of the bakery.
A friendly smile, positive energy, and a passion for selling are essential.
Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
