Cathelco is seeking an experienced and driven

Sales & Business Development Lead

to spearhead commercial growth across the UAE and wider Middle East.

This senior role is ideal for a commercially focused technical professional with a strong engineering understanding and a proven ability to secure new business within onshore and offshore markets.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping market strategy, expanding Cathelco’s regional footprint, and driving high-value customer engagement.

The ideal candidate is energetic, target-oriented, and skilled in building long-term relationships in fast-paced, competitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate, lead, and convert new business opportunities for Cathelco products across onshore and offshore sectors in the UAE and Middle East.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to support ambitious company growth targets.
  • Build, manage, and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and provide after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop customised technical solutions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and major project developments across the region.
  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and insights for management decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven and measurable experience in technical sales or business development—marine or industrial sector experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to open new markets and consistently drive revenue growth.
  • Valid UAE driving licence.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UAE and Middle East.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and capable of operating independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.
