Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support daily sales operations, assist customers, process orders, and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.
Candidates with experience in the chocolate, confectionery, food, gifting, retail, or FMCG industry will be given preference.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, handling administrative tasks, coordinating orders, and supporting sales and event activities.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Support
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in-person visits.
- Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and inquiries.
Order Processing & Coordination
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
- Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales databases.
- Assist with filing, reporting, and documentation.
- Support inventory monitoring and stock coordination.
- Ensure sales materials, catalogues, and product information are updated.
Event & Promotional Support
- Assist in organizing exhibitions, trade shows, seasonal campaigns, and promotional events.
- Help prepare event materials, product displays, and customer engagement activities.
- Support event coordination before, during, and after events.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional image and positive customer experience.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Support management with additional tasks related to sales and customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, diploma on a related field.
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, retail, or administrative roles is preferred.
- Experience in the chocolate, confectionery, food, gifting, hospitality, or FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
