Sales Data Analyst
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Department: Sales
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, preferably within FMCG or commercial operations
- Strong understanding of sales operations, merchandising, and distribution concepts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
- Experience with ERP systems/sales systems / PDA tools
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage
- Strong data management and reporting capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, merchandising, and distribution data to generate actionable insights for business decision-making
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely reports (e.g., sales performance, out-of-stock (OOS), coverage gaps, and channel analysis)
- Manage and maintain commercial data systems, ensuring high data accuracy and integrity across platforms
- Support field operations by optimizing route planning, coverage, and merchandising tracking systems
- Develop dashboards and automated reports using Excel or BI tools
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data/system issues in coordination with IT or vendors
- Maintain customer, product, and pricing master data in all relevant systems
- Track key KPIs such as sales trends, stock availability, and execution compliance
- Train and support users on system tools and reporting platforms
- Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align data insights with business needs
