Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Qatar.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in LNG projects and a strong understanding of safety standards within QatarEnergy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site
- Ensure compliance with **QatarEnergy** safety regulations and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in LNG projects
- Previous experience working with **QatarEnergy** is mandatory
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification required
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and international safety standards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Preferred
- Experience in oil & gas construction or shutdown projects
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and risk management
