Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced
Safety Officer
with a minimum of 5 years of experience in oil & gas-related production activities.
The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment at project and production sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor daily work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for employees.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and safety drills.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records as per company standards.
- Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and management on all safety-related matters.
