Overview
- Enforce HSSE policies on MEP sites to comply with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, OSHA & ISO 45001; minimize risks in high-rise/commercial projects.
- Daily/weekly walkthroughs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing zones; flag hazards (height, confined space, hot work, LOTO, cranes, scaffolding); verify PTW for high-risk tasks.
- Review/approve subcontractor RAMS; create JSA for cable pulling, chiller install, BMS/fire alarm testing.
- Deliver multilingual TBTs; arrange certified courses (First Aid, Fire Warden, Confined Space, MEWP, Scaffold, LOTO).
- Investigate near-misses/accidents via ICAM/5-Why; report to clients (Damac/Emaar/Nakheel) & authorities within 24 hrs; track CAPA closure.
- Ensure 100% PPE use (FR coveralls, harness, dielectric gloves, arc-flash); maintain muster points, CO₂ extinguishers, spill kits, eye-wash.
- Update KPI dashboard (LTIFR/TRIR); submit weekly/monthly HSSE reports; manage records in Aconex/Procore/BIM 360.
- NEBOSH IGC (mandatory), IOSH/OSHA 30-Hr, ISO 45001 Auditor (preferred); 3–5 yrs UAE MEP experience (towers/malls/airports) with ALEC-type contractors.
- DM-approved Safety Officer, UAE driving license (preferred), DCAS First Aid + AED; know MEP drawings, Navisworks, UAE Fire Code, DEWA & Green Building rules.
