KRM Global Contracting & Maintenance LLC is an established Abu Dhabi contracting firm specializing in fit-out, renovation, MEP, and maintenance works for government and private-sector clients.
We are looking for a committed Safety Officer to uphold the highest HSE standards across our active project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe systems of work across all project sites.
- Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify hazards and unsafe practices, and enforce corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi OSHAD (OSH-AD) regulations and client-specific HSE requirements.
- Maintain accurate records: incident reports, inspection logs, permits-to-work, and training registers.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Deliver safety inductions and ongoing training to site workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and correct setup of site safety equipment and signage.
- Coordinate with project engineers and site management to integrate safety into daily operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory); OSHAD-SF / OSHAD approved practitioner status is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the UAE construction / fit-out / MEP sector.
- Sound knowledge of OSHAD, UAE labour law, and international HSE standards.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication, reporting, and site-management skills.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Available to join immediately or on short notice.
- Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
