Overview
Ensure strict implementation of company HSE policies and monitor adherence by the relevant site staff
Act vigilantly and lookout for any unsafe practice which may risk the life and safety of workers, company property and machines
Educate and train the relevant employees on all the HSE matters
Alert employees about the associated risks and suspend the work in highly risky situations
Investigate the issues by critically analyzing the facts, figures and collect evidence and witness statements for issuance of incident report form
Secure the incident site and available evidence
In case of HSE violations report the matter to the Site foreman/Engineer and advise them for taking the immediate remedial action.
Notify the HSE in charge in case of repeated violations for requesting disciplinary action through HR department
Consistently assess and document risk and possible safety hazards for all aspects of operations
Ensure that all the equipment operating on site is supported by the required certificates and documents
Focus on risk prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training
Ensure providing safety principles to staff through training sessions and also in terms of regular meetings.
Regularly review and update the HSE knowledge for effective implementation
Create safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
Share information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the project team and the entire company
Make all possible efforts to ensure that company health and safety goals are met
Liaise with law enforcement and other investigators who are present in the event of a serious accident
Create and present different safety related reports for Management review
Any other HSE related duties as assigned by the Management
