We are seeking a detail-oriented **Safety Officer** to oversee workplace health and safety.
You will enforce compliance, conduct risk assessments, and prevent occupational hazards.
Your main goal is to maintain a safe, zero-harm work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect work areas regularly for safety compliance.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct accident investigations and write detailed reports.
- Lead safety drills and employee HSE training sessions.
- Enforce company policies and local safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and incident logs.
- Review subcontractor safety plans before project launch.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Safety Officer.
- Valid certification in **NEBOSH**, **OSHA**, or **IOSH**.
- In-depth knowledge of local health and safety legislations.
- Strong ability to conduct risk assessments effectively.
- Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, HSE, or related fields.
