Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building services.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance for reliable facility equipment and systems.
• Conduct inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments; implement HSE policies and safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work procedures, LOTO, and working-at-height controls.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, report findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor PPE use, safe equipment handling, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and evacuation arrangements.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions; coordinate and monitor contractors and maintenance teams.
• Maintain maintenance and compliance records and identify facility, maintenance, and safety improvements.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in MEP maintenance, facilities management, and occupational health and safety.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, facility maintenance, risk assessment, and HSE compliance.
• Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations and workplace compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills; ability to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure safety standards.

Pay

• AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
