We are seeking experienced
Safety Inspectors (HSE)
to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately
100 km north of Jeddah
.
The selected candidates will assist in monitoring site activities and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all construction works.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to ensure compliance with approved HSE procedures and project safety requirements.
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure safe execution of construction works.
- Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report them to the Safety Engineer and project management team.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers on site.
- Monitor construction activities related to road networks and multi-utility infrastructure, including:
- + Potable water networks
- + Firefighting systems
- + Gas distribution systems
- + Stormwater drainage and sanitary sewage systems
- + Power distribution (MV & LV)
- + Street lighting and telecom infrastructure
- + Irrigation and landscape works
- Assist in conducting toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Support investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses and maintain safety records.
- Ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and HSE plans.
- Maintain site safety reports, inspection records, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in construction health and safety for infrastructure projects.
- Experience in roads and multi-utility infrastructure works.
- Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction safety procedures and HSE standards.
- Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
