Safety Advisor

Who You Are

• You’re approachable, detail-oriented, and confident stepping into both the field and the boardroom. You know how to enforce safety expectations while building trust with crews. You’re proactive, organized, and calm under pressure — the kind of person people call before something becomes a problem.
• You have:
• A minimum of three years of health and safety experience in the mining and/or construction industry
• A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• Construction Safety Officer (CSO) certification or a professional designation such as CRSP
• CSTS 2020 certification
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience writing safety policies and procedures
• Experience with data analysis and safety statistics reporting
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to coach, mentor, and influence others
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Working knowledge of a safety management information system
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
