  • Part-Time/Temporary Position – This position is a part time/temporary position and DOES NOT include health or medical benefits. Hours for this position will not exceed 938 per calendar year.
  • Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work Varies, (may be working an average of 18 hours per week during off season and 40+ hours during summer season – May through September). You must be able to work any shift (days, swings, or graveyard), any day of the week, to including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Hours will not exceed 935 per calendar year.
  • Environment - Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50* pounds unassisted. The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
  • Minimum age of 16 years old.
  • Any combination of education, training, volunteer or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions the ability to assist with parks and recreation program services an entry level
  • Bilingual skills is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Nevada State driver’s license/identification Credential of have the ability to obtain, and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Must possess a Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate withing two weeks of hire prior to performing the essential functions of position. NLS will provide training.
  • Must possess a Clark County Health Card (Food Handlers Card) within thirty (30) days of date of hire.
