- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Rust, ensuring high performance and security for ERP, Finance, and Stock Exchange functionalities
- Contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts, delivering seamless user experiences within our financial systems
- Integrate with blockchain technologies, understanding and applying core blockchain principles to financial transactions and data
- Write clean, efficient, and well tested code with strong test coverage
- Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions for financial and stock exchange operations
- Participate in code reviews, uphold best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems to ensure maximum availability and performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in Rust for both backend and frontend development
- Solid understanding of blockchain principles and practical experience in blockchain integration, especially in a financial context
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases and SQLx
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as Leptos and styling frameworks like Bootstrap
- Strong problem solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Minimum 6 months experience working with ERP's, Finance and/or Stock Exchange Systems

Role Overview
- We are actively looking to hire a Rust Developer to join a dynamic, forward thinking, UAE based startup software development company, to work on large, exciting projects.
- This role requires onsite work in their very cool office in DIFC Dubai, 5 days per week.
- You will design, develop, and maintain high performance, secure applications within the ERP, Finance, and Stock Exchange systems, and will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of core business operations, with a focus on integrating with cutting edge blockchain technologies.
