Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data conversion tools in Rust
  • Design and implement highly modular ( Ports & Adapter ) Rust backend application
  • Implement and maintain Rust CLI, TUI and UI in lock step
  • Develop and maintain the Python SDK
  • Use Arrow, Polars, Data Fusion and Jupyter Notebooks for debugging and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data conversion

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in complex data file conversion and file compression
  • Strong experience with data serialization and deserialization
  • Experience in data and file streaming
  • Observability: strong hands-on experience in monitoring, logging and alerting
  • Good to Have
  • Interest in customizing views in Rust for data visualization in Rerun with Gui
  • Knowledge of fault-tolerance concepts like Circuit Breaker and Supervision Trees
  • Familiarity with composable applications like with Ports & Adapters (aka Hexagon)
  • Hands-on experience with data streaming solutions like Apache Kafka and Flink
  • Exposure to data Lakehouse solutions like Databricks
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform

Qualifications
