We are seeking a
Rope Access Technician Level 1
to support our marine and offshore operations in Qatar.
In this role, you will perform rope access tasks at height, assisting with installation, inspection, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
You will contribute to the successful delivery of our projects by supporting safe and efficient operations.
Your Task And Responsibilities
- Perform rope access operations at height for installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance, using approved techniques and safety protocols.
- Apply technical knowledge and trade skills (mechanical, electrical, welding, instrumentation, or related fields) to support equipment installation and maintenance activities.
- Follow work instructions, permits, and procedures to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to communicate technical information and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain safety, tools, and documentation standards by ensuring proper use and upkeep of equipment, adhering to safety guidelines, and completing required reports and records.
Your Qualifications
- Technical qualification through structured training or vocational education in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- IRATA Level 1 certification with valid rope access certification.
- Minimum diploma-level education in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in a similar role.
