Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Room Attendant role based at Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas to the hotel’s quality and hygiene standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
The role includes handling guest requests promptly and courteously, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring that all rooms and corridors are safe, tidy, and well-presented.
Daily duties may also involve collecting and sorting linens, coordinating with the laundry and housekeeping teams, and following health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
The Room Attendant works closely with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a welcoming environment that supports an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Housekeeping and Clean Rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and public areas.
- Laundry and linen handling skills, including basic knowledge of fabric care and proper use of cleaning and laundry equipment.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds.
- High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to manage assigned rooms and tasks efficiently.
- Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods, in line with safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles in hotels or resorts is an advantage but not always required.
- Basic English proficiency (additional languages are an asset) and willingness to follow standard operating procedures and training.

Room Attendant Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role in a hotel
- Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and guest service focus
- Must be able to provide at least two professional references from previous employers via official hotel/company email addresses
