Zawaya Albina Engineering Consultancy is looking for a qualified
Roads Design Engineer
with
2–5 years of experience
to join our team in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate should have experience in roads design and a good background in preparing hydrological and hydraulic studies.
Previous experience in projects within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare roads design drawings and related engineering layouts.
- Support and prepare hydrological and hydraulic studies.
- Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure integrated design deliverables.
- Support the preparation and submission of drawings, studies, and technical reports for approval.
- Respond to technical comments and coordinate required revisions.
- Assist in dealing with municipalities and authorities for the preparation and approval of drawings, studies, and technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in roads design.
- Good background in hydrology and hydraulics.
- Previous experience in projects within Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, including:
- Civil 3D
- SewerGEMS
- WaterGEMS
- Or equivalent software
- Experience with hydrology and hydraulic software such as:
- HEC-RAS
- HEC-HMS
- WMS
- HYFRAN
- Or equivalent software
- Previous experience dealing with municipalities and local authorities for the preparation and approval of drawings, studies, and technical reports is preferred.
- Ability to prepare clear and well-structured technical reports.
- Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
