Role Summary: We are looking for experienced and responsible Road Safety Foremen to join our team.
The successful candidates will ensure safe and efficient traffic control across various project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and supervise approved Traffic Diversion Plans (TDP/TMP) in accordance with Ashghal (PWA) WZTM guidelines.
- Ensure all works are conducted under valid permits (ROP/NOC) and meet project requirements.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices (signs, cones, barriers, TMA, and arrow boards).
- Monitor site conditions to maintain safe traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians.
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Supervise traffic marshals and operatives, ensuring proper deployment and performance.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, Ashghal inspectors, and MOI traffic police.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to HSE regulations (QCS standards).
- Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and daily reports.
Requirements
& Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in road safety or traffic management, preferably in Qatar.
To be well versed with Work Zone Traffic Management Guide (WZTMG), Traffic Diversion Plans (TDP), Traffic Diversion Techniques etc.
Certifications: IOSH HSE Training Certificate and WZTMG Certificate are required.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ashghal WZTM guidelines.
Skills
Good communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Literacy: Proficiency in English (Spoken, reading and writing).
Commitment: Strong dedication to safety and compliance standards.
Pay: From QAR5,000.00 per month
