Job Summary
AIMS General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced **Roads Foreman** to supervise and coordinate road construction activities on-site.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in roadworks, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily road construction activities including earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, asphalt works, and paving
- Allocate tasks to workers such as operators, drivers, and laborers
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor site progress and report updates to the Site Engineer/Project Manager
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company HSE policies
- Coordinate with surveyors, QA/QC team, and other site staff
- Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards
- Manage equipment and ensure proper utilization on site
Requirements
- Minimum **5–8 years of experience** in road construction projects in the UAE or GCC
- Proven experience as a **Roads Foreman or similar role**
- Strong knowledge of roadworks (asphalt, kerbstone, interlock, drainage works)
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of HSE practices and site safety regulations
- Diploma or relevant technical qualification is an advantage
