Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technology support in home and office environments across PCs, Macs, iOS, Android, and other platforms.
• Use Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory for first- and second-line user support; log phone and ticket issues in ServiceNow.
• Document technical procedures and end-user guidance; troubleshoot video-conferencing and telecommunications systems.
• Prepare and deploy staff laptops, including profile configuration and data migration; track hardware assets and inventory.
• Assist with local and global IT projects and telecom services, including SIM requests, basic troubleshooting, and provider coordination.

Requirements

• Final-year university student eligible for COOP in January 2027.
• Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud file-share support.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting Teams, Zoom, or Webex meetings; basic LAN and IP networking knowledge using the OSI model or similar.
• SCCM or imaging software experience; exposure to cloud technology and VoIP.
• Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT with prompts and to diagnose, solve, or escalate technical problems.
• Strong English communication and customer-service skills; able to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Able to collaborate or work independently, follow procedures, protect confidential information, meet deadlines, and remain patient under pressure.

Working environment

• The working environment includes shared office space and some lifting or moving of equipment.
• Occasional weekend work or late or early hours may be required according to business needs.

Employment duration

• Employment type is stated as internship; the job type is temporary for six months.
