Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Project Risk Management Plan with the Project Manager.
  • Implement and maintain project risk management systems and tools.
  • Support Risk Owners in managing and maintaining the project risk register.
  • Conduct quantitative risk analysis and provide risk-based insights.
  • Facilitate risk reviews and workshops, including Gateway stage reviews.
  • Ensure project risk data is accurate, current and complete.
  • Support suppliers in the identification, assessment and treatment of risks.
  • Report lessons learned and risk management findings to the PPP Programme Risk Manager.
  • Manage the workload and development of the Project Risk Practitioner.
  • Provide risk reports and advice to the Project Manager and project stakeholders as required.
  • Skills and Experience
  • Experience in project or programme risk management.
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to influence and support effective decision-making across project teams.
  • Reporting Line - Reports to the relevant Project Manager in accordance with the project's Risk Management Plan. Maintains a functional relationship with the PPP Programme Risk Manager.
  • The role is based in Moor Row, Cumbria and you would be working in the office 3 days a week and the other 2 days remote if you wish, so would need to be with an easy commute of Cumbria.

Qualifications
