We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced
Risk Manager
to lead and strengthen the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic risk professional to work closely with senior leadership, ensuring key enterprise risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate enterprise-wide risks, including financial, operational, regulatory, and cyber risks.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including CBUAE and ADGM where applicable.
- Prepare risk reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Review and enhance risk policies, frameworks, and governance processes.
- Monitor emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Risk Management within banking or financial services.
- Strong Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) experience.
- Solid understanding of CBUAE and ADGM regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a strategic, fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications in Risk, Governance, or Compliance (e.g. FRM, PRM, CRMA) are advantageous.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.
