Role Overview

Job Description

Risk Management Strategy & Governance

• Develop and implement the organization’s enterprise risk management strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Establish and maintain risk management policies, frameworks, and procedures based on best practices and regulatory standards.
• Support the implementation of governance and compliance frameworks across the organization.
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations to leadership regarding organizational risks and emerging challenges.

Risk Identification & Assessment

• Lead the identification, analysis, and assessment of operational, strategic, financial, technological, and regulatory risks.
• Maintain and periodically update the enterprise risk register.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and risk mitigation measures.
• Develop action plans and preventive measures to minimize risk exposure.

Business Continuity & Crisis Management

• Oversee the development and implementation of business continuity, emergency response, and crisis management plans.
• Ensure organizational readiness to respond to disruptions and critical incidents.
• Support operational resilience and minimize the impact of risks on business activities.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and evaluate risk levels across the organization.
• Prepare periodic risk reports and present findings to executive management and relevant committees.
• Monitor compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
• Track corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely implementation.

Compliance & Institutional Coordination

• Coordinate with Internal Audit and regulatory bodies on matters related to enterprise risk management.
• Participate in reviewing new projects and initiatives to assess associated risks.
• Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.

Awareness & Risk Culture

• Promote a strong risk management and compliance culture across the organization.
• Conduct awareness sessions and workshops related to risk management practices.
• Enhance employee understanding of organizational risk responsibilities.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and manage the Risk Management Unit and oversee team performance.
• Define team roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and continuous development initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in risk management or business administration is preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in risk management, including leadership and supervisory roles.
• Professional certifications such as:
• ISO 31000
• FRM
• CRM
• CIA
